The Coverage
Our warranty is a limited liability that covers a 12 month/unlimited miles nationwide. 24 month/unlimited miles additional coverage is available for an additional $200.00 or 36 month/unlimited miles additional coverage is available for an additional $300.00.
We will cover up to a $60.00/hr. labor rate with a capped maximum payout of $250.00 including fluid. Please note ALLDATA labor guide is the only book time accepted for calculating labor hours.
This Warranty exclusively covers the specific transmission installed in the vehicle and is TRANSFERABLE from the original retail purchaser. The Warranty coverage is from the date of sale and mileage calculation begins from the mileage of the original installation. Please note repair or replacement does not extend the Warranty beyond the original period.
Smartech will repair, replace or refund a pro rated amount of the original purchased price of the transmission at its sole discretion, if the transmission is found to be defective in design, has a part failure or poor workmanship and is subject to the following terms, conditions, and limitations:
This Warranty covers all eligible parts, fluid, and labor at approved labor rates. Please note any costs over the capped amount of $250.00 are the responsibility of the vehicle owner. Any shipping charges incurred outside of the free shipping area is sole responsible of the customer including return shipping of the core.
To the extent allowed by law, damages are limited to the original purchase price.
